Submit a Promising Practice
As a follow up to the National Educator Shortage Summit, we are looking to share strategies and practices that are working to address the educator shortage. Partnerships between PK-12, higher education and Departments of Education and Labor are encouraged. "Promising Practices" the major features of the practice, but also the necessary partners, resources, and activities for successful implementation.
Information will be compiled and added to the appropriate sections of the 5 Shifts for Addressing the Educator Shortage.

Examples of Promising Practices: Grow Your Own Programs with Middle School/High School; Redesigned recruitment program to address educators sense of purpose, belonging and wellbeing; State recruitment initiatives with Dept. of Eds; Residency models; Teacher exchange programs, Alternative certification partnerships.
